NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Lots of people headed to downtown Nashville this Thanksgiving with food, blankets and clothing for the homeless.
It was all for Gobble Gobble Give, an annual event that took place at Piranha’s on Third Avenue.
Volunteers all brought food to the pot luck party and helped put together boxed meals and care packages for people in need.
Those volunteers also set out to help deliver the meals.
“There’s people that are so down and can’t make it because they’re disabled, so what we do is we line up cars and they drive out and sit with people and have Thanksgiving dinner with them,” said organizer David Montanbeau.
“You know, to provide a little hope, a little inspiration and love, that’s what we’re looking to do,” he added.
