SMYRNA, Tenn. (WKRN) – A Smyrna non-profit is in need of warm clothing, food and unwrapped toys for its holiday donation drive.
Smyrna Heart of Grace is focused on lending a helping hand to members of the community. They operate a food pantry year round and feeds students throughout school breaks with donations.
They assist those who need basic items such as food and clothing and host giveaways, events and fundraisers to help the community.
Smyrna Heart of Grace needs new, unwrapped toys and easy to prepare foods, as well as individually wrapped snack foods.
“We need easy-to-prepare foods that will help them out during the week because most of them are living in hotels, campgrounds and campers,” said volunteer Tracy Warrick.
“We also take snacks to the elementary school for the students that might not have a snack and come to school hungry.”
