Police investigating Mt. Juliet bank robbery

MT. JULIET, Tenn. (WKRN) — Police are searching for a man who allegedly robbed a Mt. Juliet bank Thursday evening.

Officers responded to First Bank, located at 4110 North Mt. Juliet Road, around 5 p.m.

The suspect reportedly slid a note demanding cash to a bank employee and fled after receiving an undisclosed amount of money.

Mt. Juliet police and the Federal Bureau of Investigation are working to find the suspect.

Police described him as a man in his 30s or 40s with an athletic build. He was last seen wearing a ball cap, maroon hooded sweatshirt and jeans.
