MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WKRN) — A man was shot as a result of road rage in Murfreesboro on Wednesday and now both men involved are being charged.
James Ross, 57, was shot by 22-year-old Isaac Garner while pulled over on the side of Southeast Broad Street after approaching Garner’s vehicle and pushing his car door.
After the incident, Garner was originally detained by police and let go, telling police he feared for his life.
News 2 talked to Ross on Thursday and he said he didn’t understand why Garner wasn’t charged but now, both men are facing charges.
Ross will be charged with with simple assault and Garner will turn himself in and be charged with aggravated assault.
