NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – There was a big turnout Monday at a Bellevue middle school where they were trying to figure out what to do about Hillwood High School.

Several options are on the table, including relocating it to Bellevue Middle School’s campus, rebuilding on the current site, or just renovating the current building.

“It’s an older building and, if you walk around, you can clearly see it needs a lot of work,” said Joe Bass, spokesman for Metro Nashville Public Schools.

“So we do feel a sense of urgency to get it done, but we also know it’s a massive project and shouldn’t be taken lightly and shouldn’t be rushed,” he added.

Monday night’s meeting wasn’t the only chance to provide input. There will be there more meetings.
