WHITE BLUFF, Tenn. (WRKN) – An 18-year-old was killed in a car crash in Dickson County early Sunday morning.
It happened on Jones Creek Road around 2:45 a.m.
According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, 18-year-old Caleb Buttrey was killed when his Infiniti G35 veered off the road and hit a brick mailbox, causing the car to go down into an embankment and flip multiple times.
A passenger in the car was injured in the crash.
Troopers with the THP do not believe drugs or alcohol were involved.
Neither Buttrey nor his passenger were wearing seat belts, according to the THP crash report.
