NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – The son of a former councilman was arrested Thursday in Nashville after a brief standoff.
Authorities arrived to a home in the 4300 block of Ashland City Highway to arrest Robert N. Wallace, Sr. on outstanding warrants for speeding tickets.
A standoff ensued that lasted over an hour.
Wallace was ultimately taken into custody without further incident. No one was injured.
Details on the charges he may face have yet to be released.
His father, Ludye Wallace, is a former Nashville councilman and the current president of the city’s chapter of the NAACP.
