NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Metro police are investigating after a 19-year-old was found dead at Glengarry Elementary School in south Nashville.
Police told News 2 a neighbor heard multiple gunshots come from the area just after 10 p.m. Thursday.
A maintenance worker at the school reported seeing a small, dark car parked in the roundabout.
Around 10:30 p.m. when the worker left the school, he discovered the victim, identified as Jory Sweatt of Chambers Drive, lying on the ground and noticed the car was gone.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
