Man charged with 3 counts vehicular homicide rushed to hospital from jail

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – The man who is facing three counts of vehicular homicide after being involved in a crash that killed a young family is back in the hospital, according to the Houston County Sheriff’s Department.

Police took 37-year-old Benjamin Franklin, to the hospital in Erin, Tennessee, due to unknown complications.

He was then transferred to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.

Franklin suffered broken bones and a bleeding spleen in the crash that killed 20-year-old William Griggs, 19-year-old Kassidy Leonard and their 11-day old baby girl, Kimberlynn, last Monday night in Houston County.
