GOODLETTSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Goodlettsville police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying armed robbery suspects who recently fired shots at the RiverGate Mall.

It happened Sept. 29 just before 7 p.m. outside the mall’s food court.

Police said a man arrived to the mall to meet someone he had arranged online to sell a scooter to.

Mall video shows the alleged buyers arrive to the mall in a white Altima to meet the victim.

Within minutes of the three men getting out of the car, one of them pulled a gun on the man selling the scooter.

Police said when the victim ran back to his SUV, one of the men opened fired, blasting out his back window before stealing three scooters valued at $500 each.

“He was very surprised that one of the potential buyers pulled a gun on him. So his thing was to run for his life and his safety,” Det. Les Carlisle said.

The three suspects fled the scene.

Police said the victim chased after the suspects before the two vehicles were involved in a crash.

The suspects, according to police, fled again before smashing into a second vehicle. The men then fled the scene for a third time.

No arrests have been made in the case.

Anyone with information is urged to call Goodlettsville police at 615-859-3405.
