MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WKRN) – An anonymous tip led to the arrest of a man accused of firing a gun toward several people standing outside of a Rutherford County home late last month.

Brandon Mulac was found at a relative’s home in College Grove Monday.

Police said Mulac and a friend drove to a home on Keystone Drive on Sept. 30 with the intention of fighting a man.

The 21-year-old, according to police, allegedly fired three rounds into a group of seven children and adults outside the home.

Two of the rounds struck the home, police said.

He was taken into custody and is charged with first degree murder, among other charges.

At the time of his arrest, police said Mulac, his girlfriend and their infant daughter were making plans to leave the area.

Mulac is being held on a $275,000 bond at the Rutherford County jail.

He’s due in court Oct. 28.
