NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Reese Witherspoon and her new retail brand, Draper James, are partnering with YWCA of Nashville and Middle Tennessee to benefit high school girls in Nashville.

The goal is to bring economic literacy programming to the girls through YWCA’s Girls Inc. program.

It will kick off with a free conference for high school girls and their mothers or mentors on Oct. 27.

Witherspoon, Nashville’s mayor Megan Barry, Grammy-winning artist CeCe Winans and Nashville-based singer/songwriter Ruby Amanfu will be the special guests.

The conference will take place at the Music City Center with fun, interactive literacy training and tips for teenage girls.

The event is FREE and includes a family-style dinner. Doors open at 5 p.m. Read more at YWCA’s website.
