NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – It was announced Tuesday that Bridgestone will serve as the official title sponsor for Bridgestone Winter Park, an interactive fan experience area.
The park will engage both Nashville locals and visitors during the 2016 NHL All-Star festivities, the logo for which was also unveiled Tuesday.
All-Star Weekend will happen on Jan. 30 and Jan. 31, with the park scheduled to open before on Dec. 12.
Bridgestone Winter Park will feature an ice rink, concert stage and family-focused activities, which will help to bring the excitement of the NHL’s showcase event outdoors for the community at large to enjoy.
“Picture the CMA Festival meets the All-Star Game,” Preds President Sean Henry said at a meeting with Nashville media earlier in the year. “We want to make sure we’re celebrating hockey for Nashville and for [tens of thousands] of people.
Organizers told News 2 the event will also feature outdoor activities and an NHL staple of All-Star Weekend, Fan Fair.
