FRANKLIN, Tenn. (WKRN) – A Franklin man was arrested Wednesday after police say citizens helped them identify a man wanted in an “upskirt” case.

Hamilton Elrod has since been connected to other similar cases and now faces four counts of unlawful photography.

Franklin police said they asked for the public’s help on Sept. 18 after a man took a photo up a woman’s dress at the Kroger on Mallory Lane.

Tipsters led authorities to Elrod’s identity and detectives determined he was a suspect in three more cases.

Police said the cases span seven months and took place at the Franklin Whole Foods as well two more at his multi-tenant office building.

Elrod was arrested at his place of work on Meridian Boulevard and booked into jail with a $4,000 bond.

He posted his bond and was released Wednesday. He’s due in court Oct. 15.
