NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – The search is on Tuesday for a pink truck stolen from a Nashville glass company on Sunday.

Bill Evans of Evans Glass told News 2 someone broke into one of the buildings, tore concrete blocks down, crawled in, and got away with his 26,000 pound truck.

Evans said the truck was fully loaded for Monday’s deliveries.

“We think it was planned,” he added. “We think it took some planning and we think the truck was the target, not Evans Glass Company, that they knew they could get in and get out with the truck and take it for some other use whether they’re chopping [the glass] or selling it, or whatever.”

Evans also said a suspicious black Jeep and silver were car was caught on surveillance Sunday afternoon. It’s not known if the cars are connected to the theft, though.

The stolen truck has a pink cab with a long, glass rack bed. Evans said it doesn’t have a number on the cab.

Anyone who has information is urged to contact Metro police at 615-862-8600 or Nashville Crime Stoppers at 615-74-CRIME.
