Man wanted for first-degree murder in 2012 shooting death

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Three years after a 45-year-old man was shot to death in south Nashville, Metro police have identified a suspect now wanted for the crime.

Police are searching for John Eddings Jr, 23, who has been indicted on first-degree murder charges in the death of Calvin Beaudion.

Beaudion was shot and killed in 2012 at the JC Napier public housing development near downtown Nashville.

The victim was sitting inside his car outside a friend’s apartment complex when he was shot in a robbery.

Anyone who sees Eddings or knows his whereabouts is urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 615-74-CRIME.

Eddings is known to frequent the J.C. Napier/University Court area.
