NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – A 27-year-old man was killed Tuesday morning in a single vehicle crash on West Old Hickory Boulevard.
It happened around 8:30 a.m. near Sulphur Creek Road when police say Thomas Bowles lost control of his car in a curve.
Bowles’ vehicle, a 1992 Ford mustang, then struck a utility pole. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Metro police reported there was no evidence of alcohol or drug involvement at the scene.
Authorities said the preliminary cause of the crash is a speed too fast for wet road conditions. They noted Bowles was travelling fairly fast.
