It happened at the store on South Dickerson Road around 11:50 a.m., but police said this suspect was different.

“Typically it’s a covered mask, really forceful, quickly in and out, grab whatever you can grab,” said Detective Stan Hilgadiack with Goodlettsville police.

She was in the store almost an hour Saturday gathering items like she was shopping. The store manager even helped her, and investigators said she wasn’t suspicious at all until checkout time.

Detective Hilgadiack described what happened, “She tells the manager ‘this is a robbery,’ and the manager says ‘yeah right,’ and she says ‘I’m serious,’ and pulls a gun out of her purse.”

The suspect reportedly wanted money from the night deposit box. After arguing, the store manager convinced the suspect it was time for her to leave.

Police said she left in a dark gray Nissan that might have some front-end damage. Investigators claim she was apparently was so disgusted at not getting any money that she left behind the goods she tried to take.

Anyone with information about the suspect should call Detective Hilgadiack at 615-851-2240.
