Oregon woman arrested for prostitution in Franklin

FRANKLIN, Tenn. (WKRN) – A 29-year-old Oregon woman was arrested for prostitution at a Franklin hotel after police received a tip about illegal activity.

Police said undercover officers observed traffic going in and out of the Extended Stay on Bakers Bridge Avenue consistent with prostitution.

Kimberly Whitlock was taken into custody.

She is charged with prostitution, promoting prostitution, marijuana possession and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Police said a substantial amount of cash was also seized from her room.

She is being held in the Williamson County jail on a $36,000 bond.

Whitlock is due in court Oct. 8.
