1 hospitalized after fire at south Nashville trucking business

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – One person was hospitalized after a fire at a trucking business late Thursday night in south Nashville.

It happened at Sadler Brothers Trucking on Enos Reed Drive off Fesslers Lane around 11:30 p.m.

When firefighters arrived, crews found a truck parked in a service bay completely engulfed in flames.

Diesel fuel and tires were also on fire.

Firefighters were able to quickly put the fire out and evacuated people from the second story of the business.

One person was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center for treatment for smoke inhalation.

The building has some smoke damage but was determined to be structurally sound.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

No additional information was immediately released.
