NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – It was a night of a lifetime for a 17-year-old Lebanon student battling cancer.

Whit Robertson’s wish came true, thanks to a group called Dreams and Wishes of Tennessee, an organization that grants wishes to young people battling terminal illnesses or cancer.

Robertson got to meet Ariana Grande at Bridgestone Arena, one-on-one backstage, before her Tuesday night concert.

Along with his closest friends and family, the teen enjoyed the night in a special suite to make sure he was comfortable.

Just a week ago, hundreds of people ran in the annual Sherry’s Run in Robertson’s honor.

He was diagnosed with a glioblastoma multiforme, a malignant brain tumor, in the fall of 2014. He underwent surgery in November for the original tumor, but it had spread throughout his brain and spine.
