NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Families gathered at the Music City Center Sunday for the Metro Nashville Public School’s First Choice Festival.
Parents and students got the opportunity to visit with representatives from more than 160 schools and explore all of their options within MNPS. Attendees were also able to learn more about the process of applying to the selected optional schools for the 2016-2017 academic year.
Zoned, magnet, charter and specialty schools were all represented. There were also activities for the kids and a family fun zone. It was metro’s fourth year hosting the festival, and it gets bigger every year.
