MT. JULIET, Tenn. (WKRN) – A dog that had been at the Mt. Juliet Animal shelter for a year and three months now has a forever home.
According to shelter’s Facebook page, Rocky was adopted Friday by a Mt. Juliet Police Department employee.
The shelter told News 2 the 5-year-old put bull mix had suffered from heartworm and other injuries when he first arrived, but he was well cared for and healthy.
Daniel, an employee of the shelter, said Rocky is “the sweetest dog.”
However, Rocky is not alone. The shelter has animals that have been there for months and are still looking for homes. For more information on how you can adopt from the shelter visit their website by clicking here.
