Suspect arrested for stealing laptop from homeless man at Madison McDonald’s

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Metro police arrested a man Tuesday who allegedly stole a laptop from a homeless man at a McDonald’s restaurant in Madison.

The theft happened at the business on South Gallatin Pike on August 21.

According to an affidavit, John Raymond, 34, walked around the restaurant several times while the victim was distracted by another customer before he unplugged the laptop and exited the business.

Police reported Raymond fled the scene in a silver four-door sedan.

Raymond was booked into the Metro jail and charged with theft of property. His bond was set at $5,000.
