CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – A woman was arrested Wednesday in Montgomery County after Clarksville police say she attempted to carry a concealed firearm into the courthouse.
Elizabeth Walthour was charged with carrying a weapon during judicial proceedings after an x-ray machine detected the gun as she arrived at the courthouse for a 10:30 a.m. arraignment for a traffic citation.
After the detection alert, deputies found a loaded revolver containing three rounds when searching her purse.
Walthour does not have a conceal carry permit.
Her bond was set at $25,000.
