NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKR) – A car hydroplaned into a Nashville charter school bus late Wednesday afternoon.
Officials told News 2 heavy downpours caused the crash at 4 p.m. on Donelson Pike near Hangar Lane.
No children were injured. The driver of the bus injured their arm, while the driver of the car received only bumps and bruises.
Further details weren’t immediately released.
The bus belongs to STEM Prep Academy, a charter school. The school wrote on Facebook Wednesday that the airport welcomed the kids inside and Southwest Airlines gave them snacks.
