Man killed after argument in Edgehill community, search for gunman

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – A man was killed Monday night in the Edgehill community after some kind of argument with another man.

Police said it happened just after 7:30 p.m. on Hillside Avenue.

The argument escalated to the point that the suspect pulled out a handgun and shot the victim, who was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he was pronounced dead, according to police.

His name has yet to be released.

The suspect was described as a short black man wearing a Raider’s jersey and reportedly left the scene in a dark blue Dodge Charger.
