ARVADA, Colo. (WKRN) – An elderly woman walked into a Colorado police station for the simplest of things: a hug.
According to the Arvada Police Department, the citizen was “extremely upset about the recent loss of so many officers across the country.”
The woman then felt compelled to go give one a hug.
The recipient as Officer Steiner, the police department said, who is quite a bit taller than the elderly woman.
“While a bit of a reach because of his size, she managed to get ahold of him and hugged him great; not once but twice!!!” the department’s Facebook page says.
They posted the story along with video stills from the station’s surveillance Monday morning. It’s since gotten over 1,600 shares and 4,1200 likes.
