NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – A man was treated for injuries he sustained in a fire at a homeless camp in north Nashville early Friday morning.
It happened at a homeless camp behind a shopping center at Dickerson Pike and Doverside Drive around 3 a.m.
Police told News 2 they responded to the fire after receiving 911 calls from concerned citizens who saw the smoke from the road.
The Nashville Fire Department got the fire quickly under control, and the man was transported to an area hospital for treatment of his injuries.
No additional information was immediately released.
