NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Titans starting nose tackle Sammie Hill underwent knee surgery on Wednesday according to Titans senior writer Jim Wyatt.
The team has yet to say how long Hill could be out, but other outside reports say he will miss the first three games.
The Titans have a bye in Week 4, meaning Hill could be ready to return October 11 against the Bills.
A different knee injury caused Hill to miss the first two preseason games.
Hill started 15 games for the Titans last season where he recorded 34 tackles and a blocked field goal to secure a Week 6 win over Jacksonville.
