NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – The library at McGavock High School reopened Thursday after it was freshly renovated and “significantly transformed.”

Mayor Karl Dean joined the director of the Nashville Public Library, Kent Oliver, for the ceremony at the school on McGavock Pike.

The transformation was thanks to Limitless Libraries, a program run by Nashville Public Library along with Metro Nashville Public Schools.

The program allows students to go their school’s library and order books from both that library as well as Nashville’s.

Limitless Libraries just expanded this year, adding third and fourth graders and bringing the total roster of students enrolled to nearly 60,000.
