Funeral arrangements made for Murfreesboro teen

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WKRN) – Arrangements for the funeral of 15-year-old Mason Loupe have been made.

The Siegel High School sophomore was in critical condition at Vanderbilt University Medical Center after a gunshot wound to the head on Saturday, Aug. 30. He died on Wednesday, Sept. 2. 

Services will be held at New Vision Church on Thompson Lane on Saturday, Sept. 12. The visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. A private family service will be held from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. with a public funeral service at 3 p.m.

Mason’s mother, Melanie Loupe is encouraging anyone who has purchased a t-shirt in support of the family to wear them to the services. Those can be purchased here.

A GoFundMe has been set up to help the family with costs.
