NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – A swimmer was found alive Sunday after police were investigating a possible drowning Sunday, according to the Office of Emergency Management.
It happened near the visitors center in the 3000 block Bell Road.
A witness told News 2 he saw a man swimming for about 30 to 45 minutes, but when he didn’t see the man arrive back on shore he grew concerned and called 911. He thought he man might have been trying to swim to the other side.
The Office of Emergency Management said the swimmer was not wearing a life jacket, but someone was pulled from the water alive.
The swimmer’s name hasn’t been and information about where the person was found wasn’t immediately known.
