MADISON, Tenn. (WKRN) – A gas station clerk was shot during an armed robbery at a Madison gas station early Sunday morning.
It happened at the Shell station, located at 1190 South Gallatin Pike, around 2:15 a.m.
Police told News 2 two suspects with handguns entered the store and told everyone inside to get down.
They reportedly took some money from the register and fired one shot at an employee as they were leaving.
The employee was struck in the buttocks and transported to TriStar Skyline Medical Center where they were listed in stable condition.
No additional information was immediately released.
