LAWRENCEBURG, Tenn. (WKRN) – Family and friends said goodbye to Britney Pigg on Sunday.

Her visitation was from 2 – 4 p.m. at the Pettus-TurnBo Funeral Home in Lawrenceburg with the burial right after at Freedom Cemetery in Summertown.

She was found dead in her car in Lawrence County last week.

Investigators think she met up with Shane Shirley the night before a paternity hearing they were both scheduled to attend.

Shirley was later charged with criminal homicide after Pigg’s body was found in her car on the land of Shirley’s uncle.

The 25-year-old mother leaves behind two children. A GoFundMe page has been set up to help the family with funeral costs.
