NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – With less than two weeks to go until election day, early voting is in full swing.
The two remaining candidates for mayor are making sure every day counts.
Megan Barry and David Fox were at the Southeast Community Center Park in Antioch near the Ford Ice Center on Saturday.
Both were working hard to get people to the polls and win their votes.
“The folks who are out here are excited about getting their neighbors to vote and their friends to vote. That’s what this is about,” said Barry.
Fox referred to the voting behavior as “brisk” and said he loves seeing that. “I love seeing people going to the polls. It’s been a really good day,” he said.
Early voting is ongoing and election day is September 10.
