MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) – Police arrested a man wanted for robbing a Montgomery County Dollar General Store Sunday night.
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office reported 21-year-old Joshua Rickerson was taken into custody Friday in Logan County, Kentucky.
The armed robbery happened at the Dollar General, located on Highway 12 in Montgomery County near the Cheatham County line.
The victim told police she was putting carts away when she turned around to see the masked suspect pointing a gun at her face. The store employee said she emptied her cash register and told her co-workers to do the same.

“We would like to thank the Logan County Sheriff’s Office as well as the Cheatham, Weakley, and Henry County Tennessee Sheriff’s Offices for their assistance in this investigation.” Sheriff Fuson added. “The collective teamwork by all of these agencies resulted in identifying, locating and ultimately arresting Rickerson”.
Rickerson, who gave a Russellville, Kentucky address, will be booked into the Montgomery County jail on an armed robbery charge. His bond was set at $250,000.
