Mosquitoes in east Nashville test positive for West Nile virus

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – A batch of mosquitoes captured in east Nashville have tested positive for West Nile virus.

Metro Public Health Department’s Pest Management Division trapped the batch near the intersection of East Trinity Lane and Gallatin Pike.

This is the tenth time in 2015 that mosquito batches have tested positive in Davidson County.

There have been no human cases reported in Davidson County.
