BURNS, Tenn. (WKRN) – A 48-year-old woman was found dead inside a Dickson County home late Tuesday night.
Police were called to the home in the 2200 block of Highway 47 in Burns, Tennessee, around 11:30 p.m. in reference to a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
According to a press release, there were six other people inside the home.
Detectives are investigating the woman’s death as all gunshot deaths are treated as homicides until the facts prove differently.
The woman’s identity was not immediately released. An autopsy will be performed.
