In his final practice session before Friday’s game, Mariota was 8-for-12 passing and did not throw an interception. The rookie, who has thrown 186 passes in practice since training camp opened, has yet to throw an interception in scrimmage as part of what his coaches are saying has been a “flawless” camp performance for the No. 2 overall NFL draft pick.

When asked about nerves heading into his first game, Mariota told Jim Wyatt of, “[I feel] excitement. For me, it is a dream come true … It is an opportunity to fulfill a lifetime dream, and I am looking forward to it.”
