MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WKRN) – Black Fox Elementary in Murfreesboro has been cleared late Friday morning after the school received a threat earlier in the day.
Students were bused to nearby Hobgood Elementary for a short time as authorities investigated the threat.
Parents were able to pick up their children at Hobgood Elementary.
Students returning to the elementary school will be dismissed at their normal time.
Murfreesboro police and the Tennessee Highway Patrol both responded to the scene.
Police said it appears Friday’s threat was part of a larger hoax.
