MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WKRN) – Murfreesboro police are seeking information from anyone who may have had contact with a 22-year-old woman who was found dead at her apartment Friday.
Police said during their investigation thus far, they discovered Heather Maples was as Gentleman Jim’s Bar and Grill located on Greenland Drive from 10 p.m. Thursday to midnight.
Maples then left the bar and went to The Handlebar until 12:45 a.m. Friday before she returned to Gentleman Jim’s where she stayed until 2 a.m.
After leaving Gentleman Jim’s for a second time, it is believed Maples returned to her apartment at the Cove at Center Point, where she lived and worked.
Maples was discovered dead inside her Brown Drive apartment around 9 a.m. Friday by a friend. Her death is being investigated as a homicide.
Police previously said they do not believe her murder was a random act of violence and that the 22-year-old may have known her attacker.
The investigation is ongoing and police have not released her cause of death.
