NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – The Tennessee Titans first official depth chart of the 2015 season did not reveal any surprises offensively or defensively.
Offensively, head coach Ken Whisenhunt did present things a little differently, listing two tight ends, Delanie Walker and Anthony Fasano, and only one running back, Bishop Sankey.
Rookie Marcus Mariota of course is the starting quarterback with Kendall Wright and Harry Douglass at wide receiver.
The only revelation on the offensive line is at right tackle where veteran Byron Bell gets the nod over rookie Jeremiah Potousi.
The Titans signed Bell in the offseason after he spent five years as a starter for the Carolina Panthers.
On defense, second year man DaQuan Jones from Penn State joins Sammie Hill and Jurrell Casey on the defensive line.
In the secondary, Parrish Cox starts opposite Jason McCourty at cornerback. Cox was signed as a free agent in the offseason after he picked off five passes last season for San Francisco.
Coty Sensabaugh and Marqueston Huff are listed as the team’s second string cornerbacks.
The return of Zach Brown highlights the changes at linebacker. He missed the entire season in 2014 after tearing a pectoral muscle on the first drive of the season.
With Brown back in the lineup, veteran Wesley Woodyard goes to the bench after starting 16 games last season.
