MILLERSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Around 30 marijuana plants were seized from a home in Millersville on Monday.
They were discovered on Slaters Creek Road as an officer was chasing a suspect who bailed from a traffic stop.
The officer told News 2 the passenger of the car bailed so he followed his trail and went through the home’s back yard where he discovered the plants.
Some of them were over 5 feet tall while most were around 3 feet. Altogether, they were worth over $30,000.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol is investigating and searching the 4-acre property.
It wasn’t immediately clear if anyone was taken into custody.
