NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – A 22-year-old man was injured in a shooting Wednesday night in north Nashville.
It happened around 10:15 p.m. in the 1600 block of 16th Avenue North across from a day care.
Police told News 2 the victim was standing in front of a home when an unknown man approached him, produced a pistol and began shooting.
The victim was shot in the leg. He was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
The suspect is described as a black male, wearing black clothing.
Metro police began searching the area with K-9’s for the suspect but were unsuccessful.
