NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – President Jimmy Carter will be in Nashville Thursday to sign copies of his new book at the public library.
The event begins at 4:30 p.m. at the main library in downtown Nashville at Sixth Avenue and Church Street.
The former president’s new memoir, “A Full Life: Reflections at Ninety,” was published July 7 by Simon & Schuster.
In order to join the signing line, you must buy a copy of “A Full Life” from Parnassus Books, either in the store on Hillsboro Road in Green Hills or at the event.
If you already have the book, you must bring your Parnassus receipt to get a signing ticket.
Library officials said Carter will also sign up to five more backlist titles per customer but will be unable to accommodate personalizations.
He previously visited Nashville in 1976, 1978, and 1980. Click here to view images from those visits.
