LAWRENCEBURG, Tenn. (WKRN) – A Lawrenceburg man considered armed and dangerous who authorities say fled from police Wednesday has been arrested.
Timothy Loyd was taken into custody on Texas Bottom Lane in Lewis County this weekend after police received a tip regarding his whereabouts.
Investigators were trying to locate Loyd because he’s a suspect in multiple theft and burglary cases.
Police said Loyd pulled a gun on two people at Long’s Market and Deli and fled from responding officers. He was wanted on two counts of aggravated assault, evading arrest, and theft of property over $1,000.
Loyd’s lengthy criminal history includes evading arrest, aggravated child neglect, reckless endangerment, theft, DUI, possession of a controlled substance and sale of a controlled substance.
