Chattanooga shooting victim Staff Sgt. David Wyatt’s remains arrive in Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – The remains of Staff Sergeant David Wyatt, one of the five servicemen killed one week ago in a tragic Chattanooga shooting, arrived in Nashville Thursday afternoon.

Wyatt was transported from Dover, Delaware, where he was dressed and prepared for his funeral.

He will be laid to rest Friday at Hixson United Methodist Church in Chattanooga.

The 35-year-old will then be buried with full honors at the Chattanooga National Cemetery.

Members of the U.S. Marine Corp that served with Wyatt will be active and honorary pallbearers.
