NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – A 16-year-old boy was treated and released after he was shot in north Nashville Wednesday night.
It happened near the intersection of 25th Avenue North and Dowlan Street around 9 p.m.
Metro police told News 2 the teen was walking when three men in a dark-colored SUV pulled beside him and opened fire.
The 16-year-old was struck once in the chest and once in the arm.
He was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he received treatment and has since been released.
Police are searching for the suspects.
No additional information was immediately released.
