SHELBYVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Monday marks the 29th birthday of a missing Bedford County teacher.
Friends and family haven’t celebrated Shelley Mook’s birthday with her in four years.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation told News 2 their investigation is still open and active.
Mook was last seen in February 2011 after dropping her daughter off at her ex-husband’s house.
Days later, her car was found in Murfreesboro and appeared to have been set on fire.
Her ex-husband has been the only person of interest in the case, but he has never been charged.
Several searches over the years have turned up nothing.
